Pros
- Interesting product and stable finances - CEO is a hard working person - Good accident/sickness insurance - Generous wellness allowance - Yearly gathering, usually connected with a fun event - Diverse international team
Cons
- As mentioned above the CEO is a hard working person, which is good, but is way too involved and controlling at low level decisions.. micromanagement. - CTO may have good long term ideas but lacks technical knowledge.. focus is on appearances and slogans rather than decisions and taking responsibility. Would probably do a much better PR person than a CTO. - There’s no honest or transparent communication which results in rumors, gossip and lack of trust. - HR policies and initiatives can be confusing and poorly executed. - People are disposable. It’s obvious that there’s no place for sentiment. On one hand they want us to be in the office as much as possible to ”build culture”, and then they fire 12 long term contractors (our friends!) on the spot without giving them a decent exit.
