Pros
work remote when you need to, nice office space with snacks and coffee. got to meet a lot of movers and shakers across industries due to the CEO's connections. worked with some really kind and smart people. i also learned a ton about myself, my career, and what i can and can't handle which i think is normal of an early stage startup.
Cons
serious lack of diversity when i was there despite claiming it was a core value. they just rewarded the loudest and most confident white men, only a select few women were getting promoted. i complained about the lack of diversity and it was implied it was my fault despite that being out of my job scope. additionally, most of the folks i worked with either quit or got fired within a year. i've never seen so many highly functioning employees get fired and it's because they weren't saying yes to the most unreasonable requests.
