Pros
- The people. Hands down. A fantastic group of people to work with. All understanding of how unfair and high expectations are... so they're all friendly, helpful and generally fantastic to work with. - Pay is fairly strong compared to a lot of agencies right now
Cons
- The workload has to be the most insane I've ever experienced. There is no joy in this job - none at all - no fun to be had. Just work work work 24/7 . You will be working late almost every day. The work is Endless , you will slowly begin to dread waking up for work everyday. This is a fact unfortunately. - The tech is atrocious. Login issues, reporting discrepancies... the list goes on - The clients run rough shod over management and leadership , they get what they want and just endlessly demand whatever they want from you. -Turnover is out of control . You will be expanding beyond your Business Unit and helping to close the gaps all the time. - If you specialize in Search like myself... it doesn't matter. You'll be doing Programmatic and Retail as well with the roll out of the 'spokes' Model. The amount of time given to learn and master skills outside your wheel house can range from days to at most weeks . Very unfair and unappealing - Meetings and calls .... it's absolutely silly how much your on calls a week. Minimum 3 hours a day , usually close to 5. You have no time to get your work done ... except on your own time and of your own accord. -3x a week in office, no exceptions. - QBR's, Monthly reports, Weekly reports without exception. Forget time to optimize, you're just creating endless reports and presentations here. Clients have access to our reporting but we just continue to create reports all day every day anyway.... completely taking away flywheel's Value add - Optimization expertise - Minimal culture or fun to be had here, just work all the time. I strongly recommend considering other options - one of the least enjoyable jobs i've ever had.
