Outdated Mad Men atmosphere where assistants were looked down on and didn't matter No camaraderie or interaction between lawyers and assistants Outdated work systems and understaffed/under appreciated environment Rampant harassment No perks or benefits HR played dirty when I informed them I would be leaving, telling me to consult my boyfriend before turning down my counter offer and that if he were in the room he would tell me to stay. When I turned them down, they insisted I give details about where I was going and who I would be working for. They then continued to badmouth my new company and became incredibly passive aggressive.
