Pros

great people to work with, customer service is always challenging because customers can come in in a bad mood or just try to get what they want at the price they want it. the real bonus from all the food lions ive ever been at is really with in the people. good products great prices and usually a low loss leader on sales ads. Walmart has to match us constantly!

Cons

physical work, long hours, hectic at times like all jobs or careers pretty much overall a relaxed environment based on the store manager you have. they are hit or miss either your best friend or worst enemy if they do anything at all.

Pros

Weekly pay. Nice co-workers. Mostly nice customers.

Cons

Hardly got to shop any orders due to (1) there hardly being any and/or (2) a certain manager shopping ALL the orders instead of delegating some, as she should have. Dead times as casheirs was a major downside for me, personally. Despised them. Managers being stupid (some and sometimes)/micromanaging. CSM is not the best at her job (though she is mostly nice) and screws up schedules and other things. They can take away your hours out of nowhere. Newer people WILL get brought on with higher pay than you. Hate the company. Used to treat their workers a lot better, I hear. Give more benefits and bonus's and things. Now you get jack all.
