Pros
You and your coworkers are going to become best friends, because you are bound to struggle together. You learn a lot. It genuinely is never boring, because there is so much to do and not enough time.
Cons
It can be incredibly strenuous. When I was last there, the overtime was always guaranteed and there was just not enough people to go around. Management is also kind of difficult to deal with, sometimes. Although they pull through when we are staff shorted and they are clearly skilled, It feels as though they are completely disconnected from the rest of the lab. Feedback seemingly doesn't get taken into account.
