Pros

- Industry standard pay - Great location, easy to commute to. - Parking Facilities

Cons

Not a supportive environment for women – Favoritism, Nepotism, and Lack of Development Opportunities. Fortescue Metals is not a welcoming or fair workplace for women. Favouritism and nepotism are deeply entrenched, with unskilled managers—predominantly male—being promoted over more qualified individuals. There is little to no investment in employee training or upskilling, so career growth is stagnant. Critical business capabilities such as cyber security assessments, project management, Agile practices, and New Ways of Working (NWOW) are heavily outsourced. This leaves limited opportunities for employees to develop these skills internally or contribute meaningfully in those areas. Overall, it’s a disappointing environment if you’re seeking fairness, support, and career development.
