The retirement plan could be stronger, but leadership has steadily improved it each year (doubled the match in my time here!) and has been open about plans to keep doing so. The pace can be fast, and you need to be very proactive to keep up.

nice people and flexible schedule

Compensation is not competitive. Benefits are fine but not alluring. Management is stretched thin because it is a small company and that stress passes down to employees. New senior management is focused on aggressive expansion in new directions but the size of the teams is not changing which means more stress.
