Would not recommend - Business Immigration Analyst Fragomen Employee Review

I truly wish I took these negative reviews seriously when I applied to this job. I thought "toxic work environment" was an exaggeration but that is the perfect description of Fragomen. On only my second day of work, I was told by a girl I was hired with that my manager was rude and had a bad reputation at the office. Again, I thought it was an exaggeration, but this office is incredibly toxic and if you are interested in employment here, I would proceed with caution. The training is absolute trash and my trainer was rude, cold, and impatient. I was tense and nervous every time I had to be with her. She never confronted me in the areas I needed to improve in, told me I was doing okay/encouraging me to my face, but ran to the manager with complaints so I was mostly left in the dark until check-ins. I think one's experience can be determined by the team they are put on, but unfortunately I worked on the team with the highest turnover rate in the entire office and with a manager who refuses to see obvious flaws in the training. I dealt with such hostility from my manger and trainer that I was crying about work a month in...that is absolutely ridiculous and no one should deal with cruelty from the people who are tasked to assisting and helping you. Did I make mistakes? Of course, but no one should be scared of asking questions and getting help. I also naively made the assumption that HR was productive and helpful, but they only function to protect higher-level management and my complaints to were largely ignored when it pertained to my manager. I made immediate friends due to shared trauma. Lunch breaks are allocated for intense venting sessions. If you can deal with high levels of stress, being underpaid, overworked, micromanagement, racism, kiss ups, etc then by all means I would apply but I am certain you can find a better opportunity elsewhere. The only plus from this experience is that I made several amazing friends.
