Pros
Made me appreciate previous employers who addressed concerns instead of avoiding them. Working at Bolton House also gave me an opportunity to understand what being unheard at work really feels like.
Cons
In my experience, Bolton House was run in a highly reactive and poorly supported way. Under the community manager, there seemed to be more focus on last-minute inspections and appearances than on consistent planning, property support, or healthy day-to-day operations. Inspections felt frequent and often sprung on staff with little notice, which created unnecessary pressure instead of promoting organized property management. I raised serious concerns by text and email, including to regional leadership, and did not receive ANY acknowledgement or follow-up. I never heard from corporate or HR regarding the concerns I brought forward. I also did not feel there was a fair effort to hear my side before decisions were made. The overall environment felt dismissive, inconsistent, and lacking in accountability.
