Pros

Reasonably high level of autonomy in my role under my manager. I am trusted to get work done with relatively little oversight.

Cons

Pay rates are lower than competitors and other automotive suppliers in the region. Not all managers are effective leaders and have struggled to keep people due to micromanagement of their team. Goals for attaining bonus and merit raises are becoming more unreachable considering the current market climate. Nepotism in some departments. Not a very diverse company but this has been improving slowly over the past 1- years. Benefits such a reimbursement for higher education isn't as competitive as similar companies in the region.

Pros

Stable company with broad global reach. Front office jobs not demanding, hybrid schedules and low expectations lead most to be 30-35 hr weeks.

Cons

At first this looks like a positive: you’ll notice that many employees have tenures of 15,20, 30 years. But that leads to a lot of group think and insular behaviors. They actually have a common statement among employees - “you’re not a Freudenberger unless you’ve been here 10 years.” Not exactly a welcoming statement to new employees. If you’d like to have your input and thoughts ignored for a decade, this is the place for you. Convinced they have great technologies, but in market terms, average technology at best. Horrific infighting between divisions. Management meetings resemble Klukluxclan meetings in terms of diversity. Pay scales below market, 401k match very weak
