Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for the work you do with our students in Brooklyn. It’s encouraging to hear that the relationships with students, colleagues, and campus leadership have been such a positive part of your experience. The connections built between teachers, students, and administrators are a big part of what makes our community special.
At the same time, I appreciate your honest feedback regarding compensation, summer hours, and schedule consistency. We understand that meaningful work also needs to be financially sustainable, and concerns about hourly fluctuations and limited opportunities during certain times of the year are important to hear. Your comments reflect challenges that many educators thoughtfully raise, and feedback like yours helps inform ongoing conversations about how we can better support and retain talented teachers.
Thank you again for your candor and for the care you bring to your students each day. We’re grateful for your contributions and for sharing your perspective on both the strengths of the role and the areas where we have opportunities to improve.
