Pros

401 K and flexible schedules are the only Pros. Can Start between 6am and 9am.

Cons

Low Pay for work completed. Horrible insurance for an Insurance Company. Raises not given or bare minimum. Favoritism, if they don't like you, you will not last. Management is horrible, they could care less about you. Forced overtime on department but they still leave by 2pm everyday. No room for advancement, you can never leave your department, no matter how much you try and how qualified you are. They will hire from outside the company before they hire internally. Nothing I was told when I was hired has held true. NOT A STABLE COMPANY RIGHT NOW****Started doing layoffs in 2016 and are currently doing another round of buy-outs and layoffs. Outsourcing complete departments to other companies to cut costs. Have vacation time, but can never actually take off because calendar is full.

Pros

Strong brand identity and mission-oriented culture on a corporate level. The work feels meaningful and is very rewarding.

Cons

Technical debt is gargantuan, while development methods and task management are floundering. Individual initiative is not rewarded, and self-starters will be frustrated by opaque or arbitrary performance metrics, petty infighting and favoritism. Very tough on neurodivergent folks due to some choice anti-mental health sentiments, and deeply conservative gender expectations.
