Pros

Excellent training people, supervisors who care about you, on 2nd shift in the machining areas, 4 10-12 hour days including a paid lunch break.

Cons

Total compensation left a lot to be desired and while the ESOP was a nice touch, the 401k contributions for my role were marginal at best.

Pros

Family first company. Good employees are treated very well at Lisk. There are many opportunities available to learn and grow within this company. Most of these reviews are from job hoppers and I have been here for 20 years. If you put in the effort at Lisk, they will take care of you. Just be an honest human. There are some really great people here as well! You can learn from some of the most intelligent people on the planet! I started from the bottom here, they gave me a chance and I am forever grateful.

Cons

There's always a few negative attitude employees and some lack of accountability at every job.

Pros

Love the guys I work with on 2nd shift, Inlay Department. We always help each other no matter what, and generally have a good time. Benefits are also very good with three weeks vacation after 5 years, at least 7 company holidays, and 7-10 pto days. Health insurance very affordable, and while the employer 401k match is only up to $500, the annual employee stock awards are supposed to make up the difference.

Cons

Once you display competence and reliability, you are locked into that role forever. No chances to advance my skills or contribute my maximum potential to the company. My direct manager got the job in 2024 not because he has any management ability, but because he's been there "long enough." Morale is in the toilet, and senior management seems oblivious to how bad this is. Worst of all: there's no change in sight. My boss is only a few years older than me, he doesn't realize this isn't the best role for him, and Lisk will never admit they made a mistake in promoting it's managers. Lastly, pay is not competitive: $25 per hour (9 years experience) to run 3 machines, a welder, and all the automation that goes with it...with tolerances of +/-.0003. Enough said.
