Pros

Not much positive on this company currently. They are just trying to keep doors open and not file bankruptcy

Cons

Management team is very poor and the current work environment is not conducive to growth. The CEO controls everything very closely and when things go wrong it’s always someone else’s fault. He blames everyone for errors and never takes responsibility for anything

Thank you for taking the time to post a review on Glassdoor. We’re sorry you feel the way you do. The pandemic certainly had an effect on lots of companies our size, and we understand why at times that might have felt like a challenge to you. But at this point, GENLED Brands seems only to be feeling growing pains. Our CEO, who has two decades of experience in LED sales and manufacturing, has lead efforts to build the company and ensure it is a great place to work – on a global scale. This international expansion has been quite positive and, due to the hard work of our amazing sales team, the business is far from bankrupt. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

Welcoming, fun employees. Hard-working, customer-first attitude.

Cons

COVID forced austerity measures that have now ended. Mine has been a good experience overall.

Pros

It is an extremely diverse enviroment.

Cons

It is not possible to list all of the negatives for working at this company but I will attempt to name a few. The HR department lacks complete confidentiality. Your salary will be told to others inside the company. Adversities with other coworkers will be leaked causing even more drama. The turn over rate, especially for workers who have joined the company over the last two years, is insanely high. I would say about 3/4 of the people did not hit the year mark. Upon working there you'll notice people are either 5 years in, or started within a years time. Understaffed. This company has denied workers in CS vacation time. You will be working overtime frequently. This includes managers. Since this company can no longer keep its staff, new employees will get hired and immediately slammed into a huge pile of work left from workers who quit. The mental health of half the office staff is abysmal. At least the workers who have been with the company for multiple years get a decent paycheck out of it. If I wrote down the incidents that have occurred in this office my post would get taken down. The only reason this company is still standing is because they don't pay any of the workers enough to hire lawyers.
