Pros
1. High quality. well positioned product - this is very important.
2. Fast-paced environment. Steep learning curve with many challenging tasks/projects.
3. Great co-workers - knowledgeable, friendly, easily approachable, team mentality.
4. Projects you are working on have a direct impact on the company. This is very rewarding.
5. Company culture in general is very open, friendly and employee oriented.
6. Upper management (CEO, CTO, SVPs) is motivated with a lot of experience in the industry. I think they are leading the company in the right direction with a targeted market focus. Also, its an absolute pleasure to work for the CEO (Dave Orton).
7. Immediate managers also have a lot of experience; work directly with their teams and are fully dedicated towards the jobs and their teams.
8. Competitive salaries.
Cons
1. Lot of simultaneous projects/tasks. This makes it difficult to focus on one thing. This is understandable since the company is growing. However, this combined with different processes (some of which have been newly installed) makes it mildly irritating.
2. Not much invested in core R&D.
3. Taking breaks is a little tough, but can be worked out with managers.
4. No employer-matched 401K.
