Pros
1) Laissez-faire culture. Hence, you end up learning a lot of things if you're entering into the Supply Chain/Freight Forwarding Industry. (Double-Edged Sword!) 2) People are great. Willing to help but there will always be that few individuals who draw lines a little bit too clear and bold. 3) Acknowledges achievements and contributions. 4) No OT culture.
Cons
1) Because of the laissez-faire culture, no proper career structure. Do not expect a clear career ladder available for you to climb. 2) Also because of the laissez-faire culture, roles and responsibilities becomes very blurred. You end up doing from Operations to IT, From IT to Sales. From Sales to Billing. All in the name of "account management". (NOT FOR THE WEAK HEARTED) 3) If you're going to enter this role, learn to say "No" because most of the time, you will end up taking over the entire scope which you didn't sign up for. 4) Dotted Line Reporting expects you to be their "dedicated personal assistant."
