Pros
- Friendly colleagues who are willing to help and support each other - I feel that your skills and experiences are appreciated - There are opportunities for career and personal development - Training opportunities are available and supported - My management is friendly, approachable and my opinions are heard - My management is good at giving immediate feedback - There are many high-quality members of staff - My management is prepared to coach employees when needed - My management offers help to improve performance, along with giving positive criticism - Management has been very honest and fair - You have a lot of independence (good if you're a hard worker / bad if you tend to fall behind on work) - You're trusted to take responsibility for your own tasks and projects - I can work from home - Challenges do appear (so things haven't been boring for me) Most importantly, during this time with the coronavirus situation, my manager has been active in checking on my wellbeing and making sure I and the team can still do our jobs as usual (without making us feel like we are being heavily monitored).
Cons
- Can get a bit busy at times, but that's expected in most workplaces - Would prefer to work the standard 9-5, rather than 9-6 (personal preference)
