Pros
- Highly interesting technical proyects for junior engineers - Possibility to handle very different tasks within a project (nothing to be with the typical software factory approach) - International opportunities in some departments - Decent salary for the first years (+1200€ perks + good compensation during business trips) - Decent work/life balance (Even though there might be some tough peaks,I usually worked less than 45 hours/ week)
Cons
- No opportunities for promotions, and no salary increases (at least during the last 6 years salary is mostly based on the labor agreements) - Limited recognition of the brand makes your CV low interesting for other companies - Few opportunities to move to other departments, you have the feeling to be working always in a small team without relation with the rest of the company - Low motivation of both junior and senior employees who didn´t get to manager roles - Managers usually dont have any kind of business background neither working experience in other companies (it is difficult for them to develop new clients neither to enter in new countries)
