Pros
The TA team does a good job in acquiring top talent that’s smart and diverse. I made a lot of meaningful connections in my time at ConsumerTrack, and it hurt to part ways with the team. I learned a ton about publishing and personal finance at my time at ConsumerTrack thanks to a select few extraordinary employees on the content team. ConsumerTrack will make you feel welcome. They spare no expense in buying you meals, bougie office spaces, swag, etc.
Cons
Not really sure where to start; clearly fake Glassdoor reviews, the gaslighting by management, the incompetence of the HR team, the poor retention rates. Top leadership is unprofessional. I’ve seen the president of this company show his true colors at a company event where there was heavy drinking at 11am. Alcoholic culture isn’t a way to make employees happy. On that note, the same leader held and extremely awkward “pump-up” all-call once in which he blamed the shortfalls of the company on people who weren’t working hard enough. The content team is completely overworked. You can’t produce legitimate content with a half-day turnaround time. ConsumerTrack employs gifted writers who will sadly get burned out eventually.
