Pros
Working at GRI Club has its challenges, but it also offers valuable opportunities. The fast-paced environment helps you develop resilience and adaptability, and the international network provides great exposure to the real estate and investment sectors. If you’re proactive and willing to navigate some hurdles, you can gain meaningful industry connections and experience.
Cons
Working at GRI Club comes with serious challenges that potential employees should consider carefully. One of the biggest issues is the lack of proper management and support. Many employees feel overworked and undervalued due to unrealistic expectations, poor communication, and a leadership team that often seems disconnected from the reality of day-to-day operations. There’s little to no structured training, making it difficult for new hires to succeed, and the high turnover rate speaks for itself. Micromanagement, lack of clear processes, and a culture that prioritizes pressure over genuine development create a stressful work environment. Instead of fostering talent, management often fails to provide the necessary support, leading to burnout and frustration. If you’re considering working here, be prepared for a chaotic structure, long hours without appreciation, and a lack of career growth unless you’re willing to navigate these challenges largely on your own. Until significant improvements are made in leadership and employee support, GRI remains a difficult place to build a sustainable and rewarding career.
Pros
Great people, the product is good, offices are great as its Wework in Paddington. Super international crowd which is quite nice.
Cons
The company has seen so much change the past 1.5 years that there is no clarity into what's going on and the direction it's taking. As new rules are implemented, the old ones are not replaced, people who have been her for years and are used to their way of doing things don't follow new approach making it extremelly hard for newcomers to figure out what to do, and how to work, and the management says nothing. Expect some internal fights between colleagues who openly dislike each others (good thing it's only a very very few, people are nice otherwise). The company changes its mind quite often, it should be listed as a pros, because it should mean its expanding and moving forward, but its not. It's missing clarity, you hear one thing from someone and 4 other different things from 4 others different people. Sales people where once told they couldn't leave their desk during the day.....we work in a WeWork building....I'll let you do the math. Again working from home is not allowed. Don't expect flexibility
