Pros
This is a great place to get your professional life started, but you should get out once you have your skill set! You have the opportunity to explore different aspects of your position with relative freedom and they offer a generous 5 weeks of PTO.
Cons
The pay is far below market value but that's somewhat to be expected at a non-profit. There is rampant nepotism in the company and many managers are not only lack the skills to be competent in their position but aren't held accountable for their poor choices and failures. Certain employees get away with murder while others are held to another set of rules. This is partly because the HR department has no actual power to reprimand employees. The organization is extremely top heavy; meaning the founders do not do a good job at trusting their employees to do their work without intervention and final say. They are hesitant to change, for better or worse and lack the business sense to make efficient decisions.
