Pros

Decent benefits and friendly, skilled engineers.

Cons

Current management has destroyed the company. They claim to look at their last years numbers to show how great of a job they are doing. Numbers are easy to make look good when 1/4 of the company is laid off and another 1/4 leave voluntarily. Those numbers will only help for a short time. Management bases their indication on how well the company is doing solely off their stock prices and not feedback from their employees or customers. Since GSE has "total transparency" go take a look into their stock symbol GVP to read all about their performance-restricted stock units and make your own decision on what their focus is.

Pros

Very well connected to the core of training and simulations. They are very open and honest in their communications. Work life balance is well met here.

Cons

Not a good deal with healthcare prices and coverage comparatively.

Pros

A good job right out of college to get work experience. It is a work from home job. Energy engineering seems like a promising career field. The employees were friendly. The salary and benefits were reasonable.

Cons

Training is a bit difficult as the job is work at home. You are basically being thrown into the deep end to figure out simulation coding. The biggest problem with the company is talent and manpower. There are only 3 senior engineers that seem to know everything, by coding, and fixing all DRs. They know simulation in and out. There are some younger engineers with a few years experience that are capable, but they seem to move on for better jobs. I left as I could see a problem in the near future. I dont see much of an opportunity for advancement. That said, the experienced engineers are retirement age and when they do retire, there are going to problems. No one will be there with years of experience.
