Pros
I've been with GTC for just over a year and have come through the acquisition in February 2019 with a much better outlook for myself and the company. GTC has taken strides under new management to do things to improve not only benefits but just making the general day to day more enjoyable. The company does a great job with providing employees with a work schedule that works best for them, while also keeping employees accountable. Not only has there been an increase in training initiatives being put in place, but there are also now owners who seem to genuinely want their employees to succeed and make themselves and the company better. Overtime also never seems to be hard to come by. Weekends aren't mandatory, but if you want the time, it's likely there for you to take. Other items like new machines, vacation time, benefit options, and work environment have also improved.
Cons
No downsides that I can think of are specific to GTC. Unfortunately, healthcare costs continue to rise but I'm sure this impacts all companies and not just GTC.
