      Pros

      Good salary Great pension scheme (final salary) Free travel on their trains, and 75% off other trains Nice office Free coffee and tea and quite free to go out and get food Opportunity to get involved in a lot Recently launched a women’s network to support women in the Railway. Was really great event and great ideas.

      Cons

      Some managers hired have been an absolute nightmare. Complete bullies and very unprofessional behaviours. Some teams do not get the chance to work from home or have flexible hours. So you are expected to work long hours and not get time back. You may not get noticed for your hard work.

      Pros

      Very well organised induction and the training is amazing from the content to the pace to the trainers themselves. Previous employers of mine could learn an awful lot from the GTR processes.
