Pros

- Lots of downtime to reflect on life (or work on your side hustle) - Low pressure (pssst… as long as you keep saying yes)

Cons

- 6+ years in "development" with nothing to show — still stuck in concept phase - Raises decided by monthly dice rolls, not performance - Approval system rewards loudness and theatrics over actual skill - Leadership thrives on exaggerated cheerleading and zero accountability - Key decisions made by people who don’t understand the work - Micromanagement is common — trust is not - Hiring is based on self-intro videos (i.e. how entertaining you seem) - Staff get let go with no explanation while new hires keep coming in — even declining a dinner with leadership was once nearly a fireable offence - Leadership visits usually followed by someone mysteriously disappearing - No effort to solve recurring problems — just more and more pizza parties - Years of work, no product shipped — money still flows in. Kinda sus

Pros

Working here has been an incredibly positive experience. The company is full of growth opportunities and truly values work-life balance, allowing employees to thrive both professionally and personally. The bonus structure is highly competitive and rewarding. Beyond that, I've continuously expanded my skill set, mastering game development, gameplay design, team management, and the effective use of AI tools. It's a forward-thinking workplace that invests in its people.

Cons

Opportunities at this company don't come naturally—you have to aggressively fight for them on your own.
