Pros

You will have great co workers for a short time

Cons

Micromanaged, dangerous work environment with no safety culture. Have to use your own vehicle and carry high business insurance for the company. They don't belive in spending money on customers. You will spend your own money on customers. Broken equipment from the 90s. Really bad reputation in Las Vegas! Techs never get raises so there is a revolving door of unqualified techs. Average career life here is 2 years.

I've been with Gen-Tech for 20 years. What I appreciate most about working here is the honesty and integrity instilled in me from upper management. Our core value here is to do whatever is necessary to assure the customer is receiving what is best for them as opposed to what is best for us. Usually those items line up without issue but in those rare instances that they do not, in the interest of assuring a long term relationship with the customer, we provide the customer with what is best for them. Working along side the owners of the company on a day to day basis allows the feeling they are directly involved in daily activities and appreciate all that is being done by their employees. They show their appreciation in a way that makes me feel like a team member and not a number.

Cons

Being a "24/7" emergency generator company sometimes requires long hours to assure "round the clock" service to our client base.
