Pros

Most groups are fairly young and around your age range. There are sports clubs you can join. Benefits are good.

Cons

Parking is absolute crap. You are lucky if you get a spot in the garage by 6, otherwise you need to carpool which is also awful because you need to align your schedule with who ever you park with. Location is also terrible (New London) do not recommend living within the area. A lot of engineers leave after about a year because of terrible salary bumps. Supervisors will take advantage of you and interactions with upper management is limited. Only work here to get some experience on your belt and then leave as quickly as you can. Communication is this company is non existent. Be prepared for a crap work/life balance.

Pros

If you're under 30, the pay can be pretty decent starting out. Pay and benefits start when you start training. If you like downtime, there's plenty.

Cons

The leadership is incredibly dysfunctional and everything is behind schedule. The environment is literally toxic and you will not get a respirator, just an N95 mask. Management is understaffed and unsupported. There's a lack of seasoned experienced employees, which means the young people coming in aren't being trained or mentored properly. You might have a 19 year old kid doing stupid and dangerous stuff right next to you and there's no supervision. Sick and vacation time is so small that running out of hours is the #1 way to get fired.
