Pros
Somewhat flexible hours, nice colleagues
Cons
Do not apply for a job with Generation Y/ ISIC. Extremely dodgy employer. Job postings are inaccurate and deceitful. Pay posted is inaccurate, hours given are incorrect and you will not receive any commission for sales as promised. You are also promised various benefits and bonuses in relation to food and travel expenses, none of which will materialise. Staff there seemed utterly miserable which should have been the first sign that something was off. As well as that it's a nightmare environment with pointless tasks being given to you which waste your time. And then being asked why you don't have other things done. CEO likes to yell at staff regularly and insult their intelligence. Talks down to people and tries to find reasons not to pay them correctly, or on time. Which is a huge problem if you are paying rent. He is barely in the office but likes to show up every now and then and criticise and contradict people. The job postings will sound very attractive but please do some research first! Make sure you look into employee reviews and articles that mention the founder etc. Don't fall into the trap. If you leave the job you will treated with bitterness and a reference will not be provided. This is something I have witnessed with many employees. The turnover is so high that most staff are relatively new. It's a revolving door. One week you are the new person and the next week you are expected to train another new person in. If anyone has similar experiences please feel free to contribute your comments. All staff pay tax through revenue but CEO collects cash in hand from schools.
