Pros
- good compensation performance bonus structure - fully remote (I have never even been to a Genesys office) - flexible time off - supportive team where everyone is essentially a group of nerdy friends (at least in my experience) - Consistently being able to work with and learn about emerging technologies - You are able to get to know partner consultants and form professional relationships outside of the Genesys itself. - In my technical interview for this position. - Direct managers are knowledgeable, supportive, empathetic, and effective
Cons
- some expectations around metrics are unrealistic, constraining, and don't actually provide an accurate and actionable narrative to management. - It sometimes feels like the WFM team is breathing down your neck - the QA team for Product Support is constantly trying to justify their existence by being needlessly nitpicky. I have had to dispute more QA scores and be found correct than is reasonable. - Staffing is inconsistent and not well balanced between PSG's - Documentation for new features is regularly inadequate to support the support team who has to troubleshoot something released yesterday
