Pros

Here at Genesys, we have intelligent and caring colleagues. Every department at Genesys that I interacted with has inspiring, smart and totally real employees. Being yourself is important and encouraged. The mission of making Genesys a more open and connected place isn’t just a cool phrase, but it actually guides everything here. The diversity is better than any other company I’ve worked at and it’s getting even better in Daly City and other regions. The benefits are equal to all the major tech companies in San Francisco and after doing even further research, Genesys benefits are nothing short of incredible. The work is exciting and I feel good about having a secure future here. Some ININ employees are not happy with the merger and I can see they are posting arrogant reviews on Glassdoor, which is understandable. My suggestion for them is to be just a little bit more patient and at the end, everything will be okay. Patience is the key, so let’s not lose that thinking. If you are able to look in the mirror everyday and know that you are a good and loyal employee, that’s all that matters to Genesys. Your work is the best evidence there is, while Genesys works on this challenging merger. With that said, you will be given a lot of freedom at Genesys, but it’s also a responsibility to make sure you are doing things that are valuable to the company. If you work hard and can produce valuable output, you will be unreplaceable asset to the company. Genesys highly values their employees and you will recognize that after working here for at least 1 year.

I have been with the company for a few years now and I can tell you what’s real and what’s not. Genesys place is for real. Keep doing what you are doing!

Pros

Interesting take on customer experience using AI. Good pay for the role.

Cons

Favoritism amongst certain individuals and teams. I've heard that some sellers were removed from accounts just as they were going to close deals and therefore lost their commission. The messaging is that you can speak to any leader but that is not always the case.
