Pros
One of my biggest observations working at Genesys is a sense of empowerment.. senior managements approach to a lot of issues is YOU help us solve it. Help contribute to solutions and share your thoughts rather than just highlight a problem and say fix it. For me, that's empowering. I can bring a problem and an idea or solution to the table. I can be part of the improvement rather than just having the powers that be dictate what they think is best. I've not seen that anywhere once a company gets this big. Inclusion gets restricted to the few in other places I've worked. Surrounded by smart hard working people, very family first minded, GREAT technology and miles ahead of others in the space. You're never going to make everyone happy all of the time, especially post a large acquisition, but from what I see and the people I talk to the leaders in this company GENUINELY want their people to be happy. Constantly want input on how they can improve. It's refreshing. Especially when your are a clear leader in your industry, it's easy to become arrogant. Im loving this place.
Cons
Communication overload sometimes - again on the back of a large acquisition and new major investors this is expected. Genesys is leading, but not resting, and the pace and volume of programs and comms can be overwhelming. There is a little education / communication fatigue I see in a lot of people during this period.
