      Pros

      Before Alcatel-Lucent: CULTURE - some of the best, smartest people with an incredible drive and sales focus. Work hard, play hard. People measured on revenue/profitability, quality, contribution.

      Cons

      After Alcatel-Lucent: Grey corporate culture. More Process. Employee frustration. Great company culture and focus being rapidly lost in the haze of Big-French corporate advancement and back-stabbing. People measured on number of reports, management-level (difference in pay grade actually cited in some meetings). Could not have fallen farther or faster.

      Pros

      PTO is very generous. Great work life balance. Excellent pay.

      Cons

      Support gets very little say in anything and continues to get more work. Takes at least a year of drowning before you really know what you are doing with confidence.
