Pros
Changing my 5 star review to 2 after four months of work: - Competitive compensation for remote/flexible work - Loads of tools although they're difficult to access and change frequently
Cons
- Less than 3 months at the company and my job, boss, and function are all changing. Re-orgs happen, but I didn't expect my career trajectory to be altered so negatively. Completely different than what I was recruited for and promised in the interview phase. The timing makes this totally preventable. I've had really positive feedback on my performance, so it's baffling to be re-allocated to a more junior position. - Leadership encourages employees to ask questions and raise new ideas, but actually raising concerns or ideas outside of norms is culturally viewed as a red flag. As a minority, this is incredibly disappointing - Although I was told to expect a bonus in the hiring process, I was later told I was ineligible when it came time due to being with the company for less than a year. Completely understand the need for a cut-off, but clarifying that expectation would have easily prevented dissatisfaction - Frequent reorganizations kill continuity and chances of upward career mobility - Preaches empathy to the customer but a true lack of empathy for employee experience long term - Undefined culture leads to wide variation in manager experience and morale-killing behaviors - Lack of established HR processes create unnecessary ambiguity in the areas that are increasingly important to employees
