Pros
The organisation is still evolving but has put a massive amount of effort into improving everything for its employees in the last few years - development, training, pay and reward, recognition, communications, and career opportunities. Their investment into leadership development means people really do treat each other with respect and the culture is very positive as a result.
Cons
The structure and engagement with Santander and the wider group is complicated and can slow things down through bureaucracy. It's a very lean organisation financially - so the working environment is basic, no frills. But I'd rather work for a lean organisation that is careful about money and stays afloat in a recession!
