Pros
Some friendly colleagues who are also willing to help.
Cons
No training for Juniors, you will be dropped in to the company expected to add value instantly. You will not be told why things work yet down the line they will want you to have known x, y and z, despite offering no guidance.
Dependent on the manager you get given may be left without an appropriate chance of success. While some managers will support and nurture you and offer a pipeline of success through increased support and structure, others will be radio silent, and yet that will somehow be your problem, not theirs.
Expectations are high and employees are checked on their time spent on each task constantly, even if you work overtime, which many people here do, it is unlikely you can fulfil these expectations set upon you.
Favouritism for employees is rampant and different rules apply to different individuals. For those looking to advance their careers here, it is a dead end, turn over rate is the highest I’ve ever seen and almost no promotions occur, with the only promotions going to those in favour, not necessarily the most deserving.
There is a massive push to become a top company in this sector, yet they aren’t and likely will never be.
Tl/dr: There isn’t much of a logical reason to pick this place over somewhere else, it is unlikely to boost your career in any positive way and almost everyone here wants to leave.
