Pros
-Tremendous learning curve. This is a plus. It forces you to learn exponentially - Comparatively more freedom to implement your ideas and see them in production.
Cons
- Poor decision making of products and features. Inexplicable and often ridiculous timelines to deliver a product - Tremendous work pressure and zero appreciation. Don't expect much from appraisals. - Research team does not exist.Calls itself a startup even after almost 10 years. Business model has not changed much. - Deteriorating quality of engineers resulted in mediocre products. Use and Throw business model lead to cryptic legacy code and never ending stream of legacy bugs. - CEO continues to err on business and technological front. Wants to sound cool all the time. 2015's round of layoffs exposed his ugly side. Saved his job and fired everybody around him. Rest of the people left on their own.
