Run away as fast as you can from this place I can't speak for other Gilbane offices, but Chicago is a terrible place to work They sell you a good story to get you in the door - once in, you find out how toxic this place is. The turnover is through the roof. Some have stayed as little as a few months. You will never feel trusted to do your job - you won't enjoy your job You will never be supported in your job - you will have zero authority to run your job You will be constantly micromanaged, scrutinized and watched - this is their version of "support" You will be gas lit by upper management in every possible discussion, review and goals review Consistent lies from management - you eventually find out the real story
