Pros
Location, a few good colleagues
Cons
It's hard to imagine a worse employer than GRI. Piss-poor management from top to bottom. GRI is unable to retain top talent because of bad management. The voluntary employee turnover rate is over 50%. Check GRI's annual report. It is publicly available. GRI's salaries are low, no pension, they do not fully cover travel costs, there are no training or career growth opportunities, nothing. A few nice people work there but also a lot of seriously mean and spiteful weirdos. The work environment is toxic. The sick rate is extremely high and many many people are sat home on burnouts or only working part of the week because of stress. And the organization's leaders lack any self-reflection and refuse to see their role in creating an environment where people are desperate to leave or so depressed by the work conditions that it makes them physically and mentally ill. If you value your health avoid this place at all costs.
