Pros

Work from home Ok salary for the industry Most team members are nice, although burnt out and disillusioned

Cons

When I joined GlobalStep, I was made a lot of promises but these turned out to be empty. The worst was the management though. The manager was nice and approachable at first, then quickly showed their true personality. Shouting during meetings, threatening people, gaslighting, sending angry messages in the chat is an everyday occurrence at this company. After I tried standing up for myself, I was discriminated against and isolated from the rest of the team. This is the most toxic work environment I have ever worked in. Asking for help from team members is discouraged, team morale is non-existent, you are just a number in a spreadsheet. Many of the team members are silently putting up with this as they are afraid to loose their jobs. I joined this company as I thought it would be fun to work in the gaming industry but it quickly turned out to be a nightmare that caused me many-many anxiety-filled days and nights. I am glad I managed to get out before it caused me permanent health problems.

Pros

Very fun and relaxed work environment. Could enjoy yourself while working on games.

Cons

Work weeks are iffy depending on progression of projects, so could have multiple weeks with no work.

Pros

A hand full of genuinely nice people. The break room is great. They are relatively accepting and a very diverse enviroment.

Cons

There is a lot of gossip. Pay is terrible. They expect a lot from you for how much they pay. I once watched a guy at work almost OD and they didn’t know how to deal with it at all.
