Pros

Pros

It's a good company to learn at. They will place you in different contracts and you will get to touch many technologies. They are nice people, very friendly atmosphere. The owners and the employees are all good people, they will do their best to include you in the team. They are knowledgeable too. Their business revolves around finding contracts where they will place you to work for their clients. They charge the client a high hourly fee and pay you a stable hourly salary with insurance and some benefits. This will benefit you especially if you are starting your career because you get to work in advanced projects. They will also help you and train you if you need it.

Cons

If you are an experienced DevOps you can get a higher pay by finding your own contacts or working in a permanent position at a bigger company. As they are a startup they are ruled by their clients and won't set boundaries or have your back if you experience abuse or overreach. You are at the mercy of the client's management team, whatever they say will be the ultimate truth for Gologic, it will not be questioned and your interests will always come last in that situation. This is my biggest con, the fact that you are going to be doing multiple contracts, you will eventually fall on a manager that will micro-manage your work, make false promises and give bad reviews if you do not fit their definition of "agile". Gologic will always kneel to any manager because they can't afford to loose a client, especially not their biggest clients which can dictate pretty much anything. Essentially, when everything is going well, you will be praised all the time and put on a pedestal but as soon as something goes a bit badly, you will be held the only responsible without any question asked and all praise will be taken back. This is because Gologic cannot afford paying you while you might loose your contract, they will need to provide bad review and remove praise in order to be able to let you go and stop paying you in the case that you do loose your contract. If you work for Gologic, you can have a great experience and meet very nice people but if you feel like a client's manager is being abusive, not keeping their word or overreaching, make sure to protect your own interests and have emails or written proof of your good work (Ex: delivers on time, working remote is approved) - no verbal agreements or feedbacks
