Pros

Go Rentals truly is a 5-Star Company! Not only does Go Rentals provide 5-Star service to their guests, the company works to provide a 5-Star company culture. What stands out to me is the family atmosphere and the genuine friendliness of its management and team members. Although I have only been a part of the Go Rentals team for a short time, I can say without hesitation that their focus is on providing their guests the very best experiences. As an employee, I have enjoyed the honing of my own skills through fantastic training from on the job to their corporate sponsored training. It was amazing to participate in the corporate training, the flew 20+ new employees to a 4/5 Star hotel for a week, provided meals, transportation and an experience I will never forget. I am also impressed with their management training and growth opportunities. I hope to be able to move into management. The other great thing is that offices that are seasonal, like mine, instead of terminating people they send them to other locations across the country, locations that are busy and need help. What a great idea - and how fun it is as they provide travel and hotel stay in nice locations. One of my peers told me about her experience flying from Florida to Southern California. The company put her up at a condo just steps from the most beautiful beach -shared by the famous Ritz Carlton no less. She stays for three months last year and aside from the travel, the training experience was great too. All in all, I am so glad to work at such a great company and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new job. Although working in the rental car field wasn't my life's aspiration, I am blown away by Go Rentals - its definitely not a rental car company - its a luxury car experience. Oh, and did I mention how amazing it is to drive up to a G550 jet to deliver a Bentley or Ferrari? I bet you can imagine the amazing guests we meet too!

Cons

So far, the only con about working at Go Rentals is the lingo... it took me forever to learn plane tail numbers and adjust to military time. Their locations are known by airport codes, and you have really got to know them all. I think more training on the make and models of the vehicles and their bells and whistles would be good too. Sitting in a Bently or Porsche for the first time is a little intimidating but to have to explain to a guest all the ins and outs of our cars can be scary too! You don't want to miss a step, and if you don't know the car, it's hard to explain the navigation systems, etc.

Pros

LOVE the luxury industry. We get to learn how the business runs and work with great guests in a very good environment. Opportunities for growth are available if you perform and work smart.

Cons

Before working here, I never worked for a rental car company, so I had to learn a lot of things.

Pros

Cheap employee rentals and commission

Cons

This company purposely understaffed at every location that they have so they don’t have to have that many people on payroll. You will spend sometimes time all day driving delivering cars annd cleaning and picking up cars to different hotels or locations 1 to 2 or even three hours away. You can’t use your PTO until you commit your life to this company for a year which is beyond insane considering that life happens there’s lots of favoritism and you’re doing majority of the work building the CEOs dream. This job can get so exhausting. You may be scheduled 9 to 5 but you may not get off till 730 or eight. There’s lots of micromanaging which can literally drive you insane and lots of passive aggressiveness. These people literally will say verbally it’s profit over people. They don’t really care about you if I could give this company zero stars I would. A lot of people this company don’t have an identity outside of their management role, which is why this whole job becomes who they are and they can get very nasty. for a company that makes millions of dollars every year and has almost A list celebrities as their clientele the amount of commission you give your employees is poor and greedy .. 0.0035%
