Pros

Joining GST has been a great experience. From day one, the team has been welcoming, and the onboarding and training processes have been efficient and well-organized. The company promotes open communication and transparency, and leadership is supportive and approachable. GST’s strong core values are reflected in how they treat employees, clients, and the community. They also offer solid benefits and great employee perks. It’s clear why GST has been recognized as one of the best places to work in Los Angeles for five consecutive years, and I’m proud to be part of the team

Cons

I have no negative feedback

Pros

- Employees are friendly, collaborative, and willing to help when major projects or company events require cross-functional support. - Community service events are meaningful, rewarding, and provide opportunities to give back to the local community. - Icebreaker Fridays were a great initiative that encourages employees to connect with others from different departments and build stronger workplace relationships. The HR team and the EA deserve a huge shout out for organizing these. Bonus: GST does provides exposure to a variety of interesting projects and case studies involving schools, cities, and other government entities. Learning about these projects helped me better understand the organization's capabilities and the impact of its work.

Cons

- Communication, direction, and feedback from management could be improved. Expectations were not always clearly communicated, which created inefficiencies and confusion within the marketing team. Marketing leadership tend to look over their team's contributions and did not recognized their hard work. - The executive team favored established processes over experimentation and change. This makes it kind of hard to implement new ideas, modern marketing strategies, or process improvements. - Brand consistency could be stronger across marketing channels. Marketing materials (internal + external) and social media content do not always align with established brand guidelines, which can weaken the overall professionalism of the company's public presence.
