Pros
The people doing the work are brilliant, particularly in engineering where there are some very talented people. Most of the function areas of the business have nice, friendly people who are quick to offer help. It's not as male-dominated as I thought it would be and a great mixture of ethnicities. The cars are cool.
Cons
The company is being run by a bunch of old boys too afraid of embracing change and new ways of working, which is ironic given the type of cars they're building. 2 day WFH policy recently scrapped with no warning so you HAVE to be in the office 4 days a week, non-negotiable - unless you're in a management position, then you can swan in and out whenever you feel like it, or in most cases not bother to come in at all. There are very few processes for anything, basic tasks take far too long. Very little support from anyone in management, any mistakes you make are used against you and if you do manage to do something right, it's either not acknowledged or stolen for management to take the credit. Zero work-life balance. If you like work-place bullying, toxic masculinity and utter chaos then this is the place for you!
