Pros

They are very specific about what activities you should be doing, which is helpful in the position if learning.

Cons

The company culture is very high-end. Everyone dresses really nicely and expects a high level of professionalism in the office which truly brings down the company's culture and does not allow people to truly get to know one another. Additionally, regardless of prior experience, the CEO requires you to be in a position for a full year before a promotion, regardless of when you started, and they only do position reviews in December. Meaning, if you start in February of 2023, you cannot get a promotion until December 2024.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback on Glassdoor. At GovStrive, we truly value input from both current and former employees, and we view all feedback as a guidance tool for growth and improvement. Our top priority is creating an environment where our employees can thrive and reach their full potential. We're proud to offer opportunities for career growth and advancement, and we prioritize promoting from within. For clarity, if an employee begins work in February of 2023, they are eligible for a promotion in December of 2023 during our year-end performance review process. In addition, employees with twelve months of service may request consideration for transfers or promotions that provide them with growth and learning opportunities, no matter the time of year. We believe that our employees are our greatest asset, and we're committed to helping them achieve their goals. As the Human Resource Director at GovStrive, I'm personally invested in ensuring that all of our employees feel heard and supported. I would love the opportunity to discuss your feedback with you in more detail and learn more about your specific concerns. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me at cjones@govstrive.com or by calling me at 478-239-6868. I'm here to listen, and I'm committed to making GovStrive an even better place to work.
