Pros
If you are fresh out of college, you will meet a lot of friends and maybe even your future spouse. Lax environment where you can essentially complete your daily tasks in three hours and depending on your seating jam out on your cell phone the rest of the day or converse with your new friends. Make one of these friends your supervisor and you should be set at Granite. Go on coffee runs, smoke breaks or out drinking with them - you will be received, reviewed well and be in line for a promotion (the only way to get more money since merit is not rewarded with raises). Aim for salary because the same rigid time rules do not apply. You can be late and you can leave early. The company is Pro-Sales so the customer's satisfaction comes secondary which takes the pressure off and they can always give angry companies credits
Cons
You will find it nearly impossible to transfer from your temp placement department although they will fill that spot will a new temp from an agency with no experience. Accessibility to the MBTA is only a nominal benefit since the trains in Boston are abysmal and you will be penalized if you are late because of public transit. Their North Quincy location is terrible since you will hit grinding traffic by car coming from the north or south and again be penalized if you have to punch a clock. Once at work, there isn't nearly enough free parking so you can either park where there aren't spots or park in the MBTA lot and go to the desk to get your $5 back. Their lot, it's an absolute nightmare and gives you a pretty clear impression of the quality of people filling the ranks. Your car will most likely be hit or scratched and a few weeks ago a pedestrian was struck in the lot. Water cooler says it might not have been an accident
