Pros

- The industry is moving at a blazing pace and the company's well-positioned to capitalize on that. - Tons of employees truly care about the industry and the company's customers. - Employees are generally very smart and hard-working. - The work is challenging. - A number of employees have been promoted into new roles recently. There's absolutely room for people to grow in their careers here. - The pay is solid. - Free coffee and snacks. Occasional free meals.

Cons

- Benefits (medical, dental, vision) are okay, but could be better. Employees have been asking about 401(k)s and transit/commuter benefits for a while with, as far as I'm aware, no recent updates. - Frequent, disruptive organizational and product roadmap changes make it hard to know what's being worked on and by whom at any given point in time. - Team/employee morale, burnout, and attrition are all real problems, with many individual contributors and managers alike quitting or having been fired/laid off in recent months. - Diversity doesn't seem to be a value or focus of the company's. There are currently no women software engineers despite recent, aggressive hiring and many employees (including engineers) raising it as a problem on multiple occasions. - The company has a few Big Personalities who aren't afraid to give scathing feedback to others in widely visible settings.
