Pros
Semi-good pay.
One free meal per shift.
Discounted Restaurant Prices and Fitness membership.
Mostly friendly coworkers.
Cons
Ridiculous policies that police when you can and can't eat on break. (They count a saucer of soup and APPLES at meals).
Inconsistent schedules and help on shift that essentially guarantees you'll never make full time or get benefits.
Will be written up for the littlest things.
Coworkers snitch on people and the workplace atmosphere is often negative.
Most of the "Perks" advertised are no longer available, specifically the Verizon discount that management knows is no longer valid but advertises it anyway.
NO ROOM FOR PROMOTION OR CROSS-TRAINING.
You will frequently work by yourself because they won't hire an appropriate amount of people to ensure all positions are filled.
Everyone is severely overworked and bonuses are never given to Housekeepers unless it's around Christmas, but other positions will frequently get bonuses for doing less work.
"Highest Earning Month!" does NOT mean anyone gets any kind of raise or bonus.
EXTREMELY HIGH TURNOVER RATE.
