Pros
I worked at the Neutral Bay branch which is a franchise so would be slightly different to the usual Grilld store. Generally all the people that work there are pretty nice and have cool personalities. The quality that Grilld emphasizes is definitely the real deal.
If you are young and looking for a job it's a good place to start as the culture is quite nice. I'd suggest just to do a couple of weekend shifts.
Cons
The work can be tough which is usually the case of hospitality. When you are hired they require you to do all roles such as table service, grilling, cashier, dressing etc. Grill's has a goal of making a burger from 5 to 7 min after order which is not always possible when it's very busy. It can be quite stressful especially as my manager/owner liked to understaff shifts sometimes in order to save money. They also don't have penalty rates and they like to enrol all the staff in a hospitality course (Certificate 3 ) as a way to pay everyone lower wages.
