Pros
1. Most important - Culture. This place is ran by a team of executives that you can tell truly care about the well being of their employees. 2. Relaxed work environment but with a focus on great results and constant improvement. 3. Fantastic benefits that seems to get better every year since I started. Health, dental, vision, 401k match, company sponsored parties and events, unlimited snack bar, gym in office, massages in office, sick brand new office building by Top Golf. A bunch of my co-workers are playing mario kart on a 10 foot projector screen in our training room as I write this. 4. Compensation is very fair for sales reps. Especially if you perform well obviously. 5. Voted best companies to work for the last 3 or 4 years in a row. 6. Quarterly meetings run by the executive team leave nothing to the imagination about where the company stands at any given time. The CEO is so candid it's hard to imagine any other company doing this. I've never seen another private company open up the financials to the entire company every 3 months. 7. Those that are performing above the minimum standards can choose to work from home
Cons
You are dealing with technology products and services, so of course customers are going to have issues sometimes. Some customers act like you just killed their grandma if their internet or TV service is down and you have to take it on the chin while trying to help them. In sales you are supposed to hand your projects off to project managers, but some of them require hand holding through every step of the process.
